What are the treatments for hepatitis B?

What are the treatments for hepatitis B?
What are the treatments for hepatitis B?
The treatment of hepatitis B mainly includes antiviral replication, improving immune function, protecting liver cells, promoting liver cell regeneration, and comprehensive treatments such as traditional Chinese medicine treatment, basic treatment and psychotherapy. Due to the easy recurrence of the disease and the persistent positive HBV replication index, the following methods can be used according to the situation:

Antiviral therapy
Antiviral therapy is an important measure for chronic HBV infection and persistently positive viral replication markers. At present, antiviral drugs are not very satisfactory. After application, HBV replication can be temporarily inhibited. After the drug is stopped, the inhibition disappears, and the original suppressed index returns to the original level. Some drugs work slower and take longer to see the effect. Because of the limited efficacy of antiviral drugs, and only when the virus replication is active, it is effective, so in recent years, the treatment of chronic hepatitis B tends to be combined to improve the efficacy.

Immunomodulatory drug

  • Thymosin: Enhances T cell activity by affecting cAMP. Usage is 10 ~ 20mg daily, intramuscular injection or intravenous drip, treatment for 2 to 3 months.
  • Interleukin 2 (IL-2) can stimulate the proliferation of immune effector cells and induce γ-interferon. Usage is 1000 ~ 2000U per day, intramuscular injection, once a day, the course of treatment is 28 ~ 56 days. Some patients turned HBeAg negative.
  • Lymphokine-activited Killer Cell (LAK cells), which are obtained by stimulating their precursor cells with lymphokines (such as IL-2 and γ-IFN). Domestic reports may enable some patients with HBeAg and HBV-DNA turned negative.

Protection of hepatocyte drugs

  • The corpus luteum extracted from the seeds of the milk thistle can stabilize the liver cell membrane and promote the regeneration of liver cells. Usage is 2 tablets each time, 3 times a day, and the course of treatment is March.
  • Glycyrrhizin extracted from licorice is effective for toxic liver damage caused by carbon tetrachloride. For the treatment of hepatitis, the effect of enzyme reduction is better, and there is rebound after stopping the drug. The existing similar product Ganlixin injection, after research, the enzyme-reducing effect is better than that of strong ning. Use 150mg to add 10% Intravenous infusion of glucose solution, once a day, course of treatment from January to February, pay attention to the heart, kidney failure, severe hypokalemia, hypernatremia. Pregnant women and infants should not be used.
  • The usage is 80mg, taken 3 times a day for 3 months. Biphenyl diester, the usage is 15 ~ 25mg, taken 3 times a day, the transaminase is normal after the reduction, the course of treatment is 6 months. Both have enzyme-lowering effects.
